Through a statement the German company Constantin Film has announced that Lena Headey ('Dredd'), Jared Harris (Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows ') and the virtually unknown Godfrey Gao have joined the cast of' The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' production directed Harold Zwart ('the Karate Kid') with a view to opening in the United States on August 23, 2013 courtesy of Screen Gems.
This is the big screen adaptation of 'City of Bones', the first installment of the book series of 'Shadow Hunters', an urban fantasy populated by vampires, demons, werewolves, fairies, romance and explosive action authentic written by Cassandra Clare.
